Expiration of Reciprocal Tariff Pause

July 7, 2025

As a reminder, on April 2nd, the President announced individual reciprocal tariff rates for each country. However, on April 10th, a 90-day pause was implemented for most countries, and a separate 90-day pause began on May 12th specifically for China, leaving a 10% base rate in place for both.

As we approach the end of the 90-day period, we want to remind you to take advantage of this rate before it expires. There is still uncertainty about the tariff rate that will apply after the pause ends, and the new rate may depend on a new agreement between the countries and the U.S.

90-Day Pause Expiration Dates:

  • For all countries besides China: The 90-day period will expire at midnight on July 9.
  • For China: The 90-day period will expire at midnight on August 12.

To Ensure the 10% Tariff Rate, Containers Must Arrive by:

  • For all countries besides China: July 8
  • For China: August 11

In light of these deadlines, we strongly urge you to review all pending purchase orders and secure bookings in time to avoid potential rate changes
